What We Can Do |
|
Had that big name speaker, but unfortunately he wasn't positioned in front of your company's logo? No problem. Here we see Lou Holtz speaking at Jackson Hewitt's convention in Las Vegas. In the original, Lou Holtz happened to be positioned to one side of the sign. In the second picture the sign has been repositioned so as to appear to be behind Lou Holtz. |

This job was particularly interesting. The original painting was done during World War II as a present for the client's father, who, at the time, was in a POW camp in Germany, having been shot down while on a B-17 mission over Berlin. The painting was done on cardboard (canvas being a strategic material and unavailable) from a photograph, with another person dressed in the subject's uniform posing. When the client brought the painting in, it had, for the last ten years, been stored in an uninsulated attic and had flaked, peeled and darkened due to heat, dampness and mold. In the two pictures to the right, you can see the finished restoration. We gave the client the option of two different backgrounds to choose from. One print of the portrait was created using a formal studio type background, while the other was created using as a background the sky taken from a painting by the British painter J. W. M. Turner (1775 - 1851). The client decided to take both. |

In this set of pictures, the client wished to have the individual seated to the right removed from the picture. As you can see in the edited picture, it is as if that individual was never there. |

Blinked when the flash went off? Let us open your eyes. In the first picture taken with former president George Bush Sr., the subject has her eyes closed. In the second, we have opened her eyes. |
